| Welcome to the Over the Hill Gang (OHG) Copper Mountain, Colorado The Over the Hill Gang, a club for the vibrant over-45 set, originated at Copper Mountain in 1976 and has been going strong ever since. This unique year-round program is operated by the Copper Mountain Ski and Ride School. It offers the opportunity to share in lasting friendships and camaraderie while participating in skiing, riding, summer and winter sport activities and social events. The Copper Winter Season dates are Nov. 6, 2009 through April 18, 2010. The OHG skis and rides in guided groups on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, Saturdays and Sundays from November 21 - April 3 (except for breaks during the Christmas holiday- Dec 22,23,26,27,29,30 and Presidents' weekend Feb 13-14). Each day is filled with maximum sliding time as our OHG guides (all members of the Copper Mountain Ski and Ride School) expertly show small groups of similar ability the hidden secrets of Copper. We enjoy lift-line privileges, lunch together and member-arranged apres-ski socials which provide members, guests and guides an opportunity to relax and share their experiences of the day. The OHG guides routinely offer skiing tips to help members enjoy their day more. Special clinics are offered during the season on everything from improving your current level of skiing/riding to racing to telemarking and snowboarding instruction. Some of the other member-led winter activities include snowshoeing and cross-country skiing (daytime and moonlight), tubing, ice skating and theater outings. During the summer, there are hiking and biking excursions, and golf and tennis tournaments. Throughout the year, members organize potluck dinners, large banquets and other social/athletic events. A monthly newsletter keeps members up to date on the events scheduled. We offer a Social Membership for those who don't ski. Questions?
